The minimum is 3 hours. A move that takes less than 3 hours is still billed as 3 hours.
How does billing work after 3 hours?
After the 3-hour minimum, the hourly rate continues until the job is finished.
Do stairs cost extra?
Yes. If the moving route includes stairs, $15 is added for each billable working hour.
Are fuel and GST included?
Fuel is included with no separate surcharge. The calculator adds the required 5% GST to the subtotal.
Is furniture disassembly or reassembly included?
No. It is not included in the base moving rate, but may be available by arrangement. Mention it when requesting your quote.
Can you take unwanted items to the dump?
Yes, when arranged in advance. Dumping/disposal charges are calculated separately from moving labour.
How far from Vancouver do you work?
Local moves are under 50 km. Routes of 50 km or more are treated as long-distance moves and quoted individually.
